Fashion, in Milan and Düsseldorf

Nicolas began by studying fashion design in Milan at the Istituto Marangoni. He then worked with Tristano Onofri, a luxury women’s fashion brand in Düsseldorf, where he refined his eye for detail, elegance and quality.

Those years also taught him marketing and strategic thinking, two things he has used every day since.

Moraira, and a building company in Calpe

In 1998 Nicolas moved to Moraira, a place he knew from his family’s early holidays. Entering the property market, he was introduced to José Escribano Tevar, owner of a reputable building company in Calpe, and started by translating for foreign clients and selling building plots to them.

Within a year he was sales director. It was the beginning of a lasting commitment to property on the Costa Blanca North.

Jetvillas

In 1999 Nicolas founded Jetvillas as a brand within the building company, to offer quality property services and house sales. By 2001 he had co-founded it as an independent company alongside José Escribano Tevar, and in 2009 José offered him a partnership in the building company, making the Jetvillas Group a 50-50 ownership: an estate agency and a builder under one roof.

On the construction side he oversaw more than 50 building projects, from the first plans to the handover, and brought to them the eye of his fashion years: the stylistic finishing, the materials and the aesthetic details that make a house feel complete. Those value-adding details, and his focus on legal security, became what the firm was known for.

Under his leadership the company achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality management from TÜV Rheinland, won the Best Property Agent Award every year from 2011 and sold over 500 properties, becoming one of the region’s most reputable firms.

A new chapter

In 2024 Nicolas sold his shares in Jetvillas to focus on new personal projects, and now offers his experience as a private consultant to investors and future second-home owners.
